Last Tuesday I was lucky to be invited by Ricoh to attend the ATP world tour tennis finals being held at the 02 Arena in Greenwich, where Nadal was playing Wawrinka in the first stages of the competition.

I was greeted at the main gates and went through to Ricoh’s VIP section, which was beautifully set out offering champagne and canopies, after walking around the room and introducing myself to some of the directors, I took a seat at one of Ricoh amazing creations the Interactive Whiteboard of which one of the staff members created a caricature for me which really made me laugh and made me look 10 years older (haha)

The game was about to start so myself and some of the Ricoh team took to our seat with a nice glass of champagne.  I must say I have never watched tennis live before and It was really exciting and defiantly got me out my seat on quite a few occasion to share some cheers.

My nan is obsessed with tennis so from a young age I was made to sit quietly in the room while she would watch every single tennis match (she is that obsessed she would tell people she is not answering the phone while a tennis match is on haha)

After about a hour of tennis being played the game became very one sided with Nadal striving forward and Wawrinka looking like he had given up. After the match had finished I managed to grab Nadal to get a signed tennis ball for my nan, she better love me at christmas for this.

If you haven’t been to see a tennis match live before I would defiantly recommend you try and get yourself down to a match as its a great experience.
